ABSTRACT
A survey of the vascular flora of Crittenden County Arkansas, located on the eastern border of Arkansas across the Mississippi River from Memphis, Tennessee, and intensely cultivated, revealed a total of 523 species and 93 families. The largest family was the Gramineae with 40 genera and 79 species; next was the Compositae with 31 genera and 45 species. The Cyperaceae was third with 6 genera and 32 species, followed by the Fabaceae with 16 genera and 30 species.
