The flora of the Isle of Palms, Charleston County, South Carolina, was collected over a one and a half year period, from December 1971 to July 1973. The species list includes 77 families, 313 species, and 23 new records for Charleston County. The major plant communities are dune, shrub, live oak, freshwater marsh, and salt marsh. A brief list of the species in each of the aforementioned communities is included.
