Last year, the term of our contract with Allen Press ended. This fall, the SABS council renegotiated a one-year contract with Allen Press. Because of limited submissions especially during summer and fall months, release of the printed journal has been delayed several times. This is not ideal for Castanea subscribers, authors, or our publisher.
Under our new contract, the following measures have enacted to ameliorate delayed publication.
