Earlier this year the Southern Appalachian Botanical Society and the New England Botanical Club met at the Valle Crucis Conference Center in western North Carolina for the first joint meeting of our two organizations. The over 60 individuals who attended had the opportunity to do what botanists love to do: get up close and personal with plants.
