Two previous papers have been published on the plants of this area (Freer, 1950, 1958). Since retirement in June, 1964, the writer has devoted almost full time to field work on the floristics of the Central Virginia Blue Ridge. This list comprises new county records and new taxa from collections since publication of the first supplement in 1958. New taxa are indicated by an asterisk.
