During the growing season of 1979, the senior author completed a survey of the vascular flora of Rockingham County, Virginia. These collections, along with previous studies by others, produced a catalogue of the vascular plants with 125 families, 490 genera and 1095 species. A total of 62 species represent new county and/or state records. These are reported herein.
