While at Mountain Lake Biological Station during June and July 1962, we took the opportunity to visit the southern end of Peters Mountain in Giles County, Virginia, in search of the rare and endemic Iliamna corei Sherff. We can say now, with satisfaction, that this species is still flourishing thirty five years, after its initial discovery.
