ABSTRACT
Fifteen species of <em>Vaccinium</em> L. (Ericaceae) are reported as native to Virginia. These are treated floristically and taxonomically. Instead of a single highbush species, <em>Vaccinium corymbosum</em>, five are proposed. Hybrids are discussed. Keys to sections and species are provided. Distribution for each species and one hybrid by counties with- in the state is shown on maps.
