This is a paperback revised edition of a book first published by the Iowa State University Press in 1948. It provides ready reference to 160 species for which drawings, range maps, and concise descriptions have been prepared, and an additional 293 species briefly described or included in keys. It is good to have this time-tested book available in an inexpensive and handy form.
