Scientific Note: Invasion Of Cuscuta Indecora Choisy (Convolvulaceae) In A Tidal Brackish Water Marsh In Virginia

Cuscuta indecora Choisy was collected at Pope’s Creek (Lat.38’11’33 N, Lon. 076’54’30 W), Westmoreland County, Virginia, George Washington Birthplace National Monument on 20 July 1995 Silberhorn 62180 (WM) and verified by Lytton Musselman (ODU). Carex indecora was found abundantly throughout the marsh complex parasitizing only Iva frutescens L.
